Vision Health Alliance launched its first consumer awareness campaign, Let’s Be Clear, to highlight the value of annual comprehensive eye exams.

“The Let’s Be Clear campaign puts eye care at the center of the healthcare conversation and highlights the role eye health plays in overall physical health and well-being,” Jane Baleckexecutive director of Vision Health Alliance, said in a group press release.

The campaign was designed to draw attention to the fact that eye exams can reveal various diseases and identify vision problems in children. Targeted messages are posted across multiple digital and social media channels for key demographics.

This launch comes several months after the American Optometric Association (AOA) launched its consumer-focused campaign, Eye Deserve More. According to an AOA press release, the campaign is “successful in achieving its goal of raising awareness and inspiring Americans to schedule an exam and feature real-life patient stories to illustrate the critical role optometrists play in health care.” overall”.

In partnership with Olympic surfer Caroline Marks, AOA’s campaign generated more than 1.67 billion impressions in the first few months of its launch.

According to the Vision Health Alliance press release, the group has secured AOA support for the Let’s Be Clear campaign.

“This would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible supporters and partners who help us lead the charge to deliver credible and educational information in impactful and meaningful ways,” Balek said in the statement.
